Spident successfully concluded its symposium, “Clinical Track Symposium: Mastering the Core Tracks in One Day, held on the 8th floor of Hanhwa Hall at Seoul National University Dental Hospital on the 15th, drawing strong interest from dentists.

 

The symposium was designed to deliver practical clinical know-how that can create immediate change in daily practice, all condensed into a single day. Leading experts in each field delivered in-depth lectures, offering participants highly valuable clinical insights.

From Flowable Resin to Innovations in Endodontics

Opening the program, Professor Cho Gyeong-mo delivered a lecture titled “There’s a Lot You Can Do with Flowable”, highlighting the expanded clinical applications of flowable resin and receiving an enthusiastic response.

Professor Park Se-hee and Dr. Shim Young-bo followed with “Innovation in Root Canal Obturation: From the Fundamentals to Clinical Application of Calcium Silicate Sealers,” presented in Part 1 and Part 2. Their lectures were praised for providing a comprehensive overview of the theoretical background and practical applications of calcium silicate sealers, which have recently attracted growing attention among clinicians.

 

 

 

Prosthodontics, Adhesion, and Aesthetic Insights


The afternoon sessions covered the latest trends in prosthodontics and adhesive dentistry.

  • Dr. Lee Hee-kyung presented “Analog & Digital Synergy in Prosthodontics,” introducing prosthetic solutions that combine the precision of analog techniques with the efficiency of digital workflows.
  • Dr. Kwak Young-joon delivered “Universal Era: Applying K-Bond Universal in Daily Practice,” sharing how to maximize the clinical efficiency of universal adhesives.
  • Dr. Lee Seung-gyu gave a lecture titled “Lessons in Aesthetics Learned Through Failure,” candidly sharing real clinical cases and emphasizing key considerations in aesthetic restorative dentistry.
